co-artistic director - shadowboxer theatre
Shadowboxer are a trio of artists; Nicole Black, Sammy Kissin and myself.
We make live performance with shadow and paper, blending new writing with stark visual theatre.
Using overhead projectors, paper puppets and layered photographic images we create intricate shadow and silhouette worlds.
We have created work for:
VAULT Festival -'Lamplight'
The Kirkaldy Testing Factory - Bankside Festival -'Fenrir'
Battersea Arts Centre - Sound & Vision - 'Face for Radio'
Shadowboxer have been just been commissioned by the Little Angel Theatre to create a film for their Digital Shorts Series
'Moonrise Mudlark' will soon be featuring on their YouTube Channel

director / writer - What we left behind
images by camilla greenwell / barbican open lab
I'm currently developing my new play 'What We Left Behind'
An immersive experience that uses binaural soundscape, projection and physical theatre
to explore the atmosphere at the top of the worlds highest mountains
Initially commissioned by Little Angel Theatre's HATCH program
it was then developed by the Barbican Open Lab program and featured in the Barbican 'Best of Open Lab Showcase' at Rich Mix.
I am now working with Elsa Petit to create a socially distanced performance run this year at Yonder, a vast climbing venue in London
With binaural soundscapes created by Strings and Tins
Listen to our binaural sound trailer, to experience the the full effect use good working headphones
